Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met, and solving any challenges they may encounter.  This role requires a strong background in account management within the industrial or energy sectors, and the ability to build lasting relationships with high-value customers. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts through regular visits, calls, and follow-ups.
  • Develop strategies to grow sales within key accounts by identifying opportunities and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage customer orders, ensuring efficient handling from placement to delivery.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery to key accounts.
  • Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure profitable deals.
  • Monitor key account performance, using sales data and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent ETAC at industry events and trade shows to strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide product knowledge and training to key customers.
  • Develop strategic plans for managing and growing key accounts.
  • Coordinate efforts with teams across locations for smooth service execution.
  • Promote ETAC’s brand and explore opportunities to expand into different markets.
  • Focus on customer retention through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Prepare reports on key account performance and sales progress.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to account management practices.
  • Maintain a proactive, customer-first approach in all dealings with key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education in business, engineering, or relate field is a plus.
  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in account management or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of transformer product and the industries we serve.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiations skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage high-value accounts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex client needs.
  • Proactive and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for customers visits, industry events, and on-site support.

Pay:

  • From $60,000 per year plus commissions.
