Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as an Account Executive. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, managing long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth across British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities through various channels, including website, social media, and outreach via phone calls.
  • Target and acquire potential customers to expand our market presence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to understand customer needs, introduce products, provide effective solutions, and provide accurate price quotations.
  • Negotiate terms with customers to ensure successful order fulfillment.
  • Oversee and follow up on the delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows, fostering connections and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans, sales forecasts, and marketing strategies to drive overall growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Background in electrical engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the power industry (generators, transformers, switchgear, etc.) is required.
  • Proven success in a sales or account management role, ideally with technical products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first attitude.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel within BC, Alberta, and Ontario as needed for customer visits and events.

Compensation Options:

  • Base salary + commission (starting from $60,000 per year)
  • Commission-only plan (structure to be discussed with qualified candidates)
